Nick Nacchia

/   Recovered since 2009
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I grew up in a small beach town in the Florida Panhandle. Going to the beach and playing sports was my norm at a very early age. When I was 12, I went to an out-of-town baseball tournament where I had my first taste of alcohol. The consistent drinking began 2 years later. By my early 20’s, I was drinking and using substances regularly which continued for the next 24 years.

In March of 2009, my life changed in many ways. My recovery journey began that same year when I completed a treatment program in Atlanta, GA. Up until that time, I had been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. In 2010, I embraced an opportunity to give back and help others with their issues of substance abuse and started a new career working for Safetynet Recovery Men’s Sober Living in Atlanta, GA.

Thus, my new career journey began which allowed me the honor of working with countless numbers of men and their families as well. In 2018, I transferred with the same company to work in Greenville, SC as the Program Director.

In 2013, I obtained my Certified Addiction Counselor 1 Certification (CAC1) along with a National Certified Addiction Counselor 1 Certification (NCAC1) in 2020. In 2023, I became a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC).

Presently, I live in Greenville, SC with my wife Audrey (whom I’ve known since the 3rd grade; we married in 2020), our dog Jules along with several feline friends. I enjoy playing golf, pickleball, and rescuing cats with my wife.

Hall of Fame Yankee slugger Mickey Mantle was once asked what his greatest accomplishment was. He answered, “Getting Sober.”

Together, we can create a plan for your own personal recovery so you can get to your best life.
